Brand and design.
We make the visual identity and the material a company presents itself with: a logo, colours and type with rules for using them, a company profile, a brochure, and a proposal template you can fill in yourself. The open source files are handed to you rather than finished images that need us again every time a word changes.
What you get
The logo in every version
Horizontal, vertical and icon; light and dark; and vector files that scale to any size without breaking.
Colours and type, with rules
Not just a palette. A guide saying where each colour goes and when, so whoever comes after us can follow it.
The company profile
A document you can send a client or enter a tender with. Designed and written, not assembled.
A proposal template
You fill it in yourself, so every quote leaving your company looks the same regardless of who wrote it.
The open files are yours
You receive the source, not flattened images. Any designer after us can carry on without starting again.
Built to work on screen
The identity is set up for the site, social and advertising from the start. Not print first with the rest worked out later.
Who it is for
- A company doing good work that looks smaller than it is
- Anyone sending proposals as a Word file with no design in it
See the identity working
Novera is a brand whose identity, site, store and videos are all ours. This is what the identity looks like in use, not on a presentation slide.
Questions we get
How long does it take?
The core identity takes two to three weeks. The printed material and the profile follow a week later, and we can start with those if you need them sooner.
How many directions do you present?
Two genuinely different directions, not the same idea in two colours. You pick one and we take it all the way.
What if I have a logo and just want it improved?
That works. We develop the existing identity rather than throwing away the thing people already recognise you by. It costs less and it risks less.
Do you print?
We prepare the files to the printer's specification and check the proof. The printing itself happens at a press, and we can recommend one we have worked with.
How many revisions?
The number is in the proposal, but what matters more than the number is that we agree the direction and the references before anyone opens a design tool. A revision after that is an adjustment to something agreed, not the discovery that you dislike the whole direction.
What if neither direction works for you?
Then we misread the brief, not you. We go back to it and present a third direction at no extra cost. It happens rarely, because the references are chosen and agreed before anyone opens a design tool.
Do you name brands?
No. We work with the name you have and build an identity from it. Naming is a different job that needs market research and a trademark check, and if that is what you need we will tell you rather than take the work and improvise.
